The five levels
Every business owner sits somewhere on a journey from survival to true ownership.
At the bottom, the business runs you. Every decision, every problem, every fire lands on your desk. You're working harder than anyone in the building and the results don't match the effort.
At the top, the business works without you. Strong team, clear systems, predictable profit. You choose your level of involvement.
Most founders know exactly which level they're on. They just haven't had someone help them see what's keeping them there.

The three pillars
Every business needs three things working together:
Vision. A clear destination that you and your team are aligned on. Without it, the business drifts.
Velocity. Control over the commercial engine. Revenue, margins, cash flow, growth. Without it, you're surviving month to month.
Value. A business that's worth something beyond your involvement. Without it, you've built yourself a job, not an asset.
Miss one pillar and the others can't hold. Most of the founders I work with are strong on one, weak on another, and blind to the third.
